About this Event

We dance to connect, to exercise, to express, and to celebrate our human experience. This workshop blends breathwork, free flow movement and mindfulness with eclectic beats to activate your body and create a space for healing and happiness.

Dancing is a liberating form of self expression that anyone can enjoy — and with mindful intention we can potentially release stress, negativity, anxiety and even trauma through our bodies. We hope by the end of the session you feel lighter and energized.

ALL are welcome. You don’t need to be a trained dancer or have any dance experience to join this workshop. All you need is comfortable clothing, good energy and a space to move in.

In this session we’ll:

  • Create a safe, sacred space for us to move together

  • Ground into our bodies with guided breathwork

  • Activate the mind-body connection with a body scan gratitude meditation

  • Softly move, waking up our body with stretches and movement exercises

  • Short break to set intentions for what we’d like to mentally and emotionally release.

  • Dance together!

  • Gentle rest and mental wealth exercise. Open space to share.

Instructor Bio:

Azul created this Meditative Dance workshop inspired by her travels around the world studying healing arts and cultural dance. She is a certified Vinyasa yoga teacher and incorporates breathwork and eclectic sounds in this hour-long guided experience.
